The HAKKO 455 soldering irons incorporate a ceramic heater and use 45 watts. They heat up to 1110°F, proving the wattage of a soldering iron is NOT indicative of its thermal ability. The 455 is perfect for soldering tuners, inverters, and similar small components, as well as stained glass projects.
